That never happened to me thank God. It’s really nice that you want to help him. But unfortunately there is nothing you can do. It’s highly doubtful he will ever recover. How to reach out to him? If that were me that happened to, I wouldn’t want anyone to mention it to me. So if I were you, I wouldn’t say anything to him about it unless he mentions it. And if he does mention it to you, be careful with what you say. No judgements. Don’t mention anything about average lengths or anything like that. Just try and sympathize the best you can.
