I didn't buy a thing till after my 20 week scan.

Then brought a bundle with a next2me, pram, carseat & rocker.....that arrived at 34ish weeks

And to be honest I was spooked that having it in the house would jinx it.

Then I brought a few nappies at 38 weeks... Which were too big. Partner had to rush out and find some size 0's after baby was born.

My sister in law kept all baby things in her mums house till her first baby arrived.

Im 19 weeks with baby 2...no intention to get anything till much later. And very little intention to buy much at all. As we have all the stuff from baby 1.

That being said. If anyone wants to gift me anything. I'll take it. If it's not to my taste it gets donated or put in the loft.
