23M/143lb or 65kg /5’8 Friends of mine tease me about my body being too slender/boyish-looking. I kinda like my size though. Thoughts?

yeah I don't want to focus on the numbers too much, more on what I look like. Having defined abs and obliques would be a goal, I guess.

Those are some nice lifts! My friend mentioned sumos to me before and they looked interesting. Maybe I’ll focus at getting stronger at that movement. Have you tried trap bar/hex bar deadlifts?

I like sumo but it comes down to preference I guess, so I'd just try it and see. It puts a bit less strain on the back, there's more glutes and hamstrings involved so it targets a bit different muscles. I also like it cause it makes your quads look good in the mirror with that wide stance

If you want to focus on increasing strength lower reps are probably better. I usually do 4 to 6 reps on the heavy compound movements and more hypertrophy work range for the more isolated exercises.

I haven't tried the trap bar deadlift yet. Seen a few other people at my gym do it though (probably more often than regular deadlifts actually). I think it puts more emphasis on hips or something but I'm not really sure. Might read up on that sometime.
