3 year old nephew saw a ghost.

I have been studying this for 29 years. Ghosts have not been proven, so again, I don't know how smudging could be a proven method for keeping them from a home. I maintain that any scientific study does not sound possible given what I have read, and given the many discussions I've had with other researchers. I am online every day, and do research nearly every day. No, I have never seen any description of a study on smudging and the banishment of ghosts. I'm sorry, but not too sorry, that you don't believe me. I really do think it would have made headlines, as we haven't even managed to get any good evidence of an afterlife. Anecdotal stories are great, and they mean something, but they are not enough proof to get a university or other research institution interested in shelling out money for a "how does smudging affect these creatures we cannot prove the existence of".

I did not got into that level of detail with the woman who responded because she was not answering my questions, and I honestly did not think she was even bothering to read them. I don't write to address everyone's possible thoughts on my situation or viewpoint. I was trying to explain my comment...but she was just pissed off and offended. And at 1:00 am I was rapidly running out of steam. My thinking is that if someone, like you for example, has a question about my level of research, he or she will ask me and not jump to conclusions. You had judged me before writing, but you seem open-minded enough to at least read my responses and give them thought. I respect that, and take no offense to the questions themselves.
