72-year-old Black woman says she was 'humiliated' at Windsor Regional hospital

I was a student wearing scrubs and had to go to the hospital once day after I lost my alertness and I could barely speak and told them I " was going in and out of consciousness" and I got reprimanded that I'm obviously in the medical field and don't say that I'm losing consciousness if I didn't black out and I should know better. Like okay, here I am barely stringing together a sentence because I feel terrible and I was talked down to like I was shit on their shoe. This was every interaction with a nurse I've had. It was all trash.

This is the main reason I won't be staying in Windsor for retirement. Everyone gets old and sick, and I'll be damned if those things take care of me when I'm old. Nah, I'm making my money in Detroit and I'll use my savings and retire in other cities with better healthcare.
