Alright, I know I'm not a good writer. But Can I have some advice on this paragraph?

An example of how I would write a similar situation in FP:

As I approached the position of the Mercenary holding Edryd and Ragnar captive, I suddenly heard a loud stomping. Three large, brown bears surrounded the captives, the chains around their necks rattled as they struggled to break free, and attack the hostages. I quickly slipped between the partially rotted crates littering the alleyway, as I made my way towards the mercenaries position. The bears' muscles rippled beneath their ragged pelts, and they pulled harder on the shackles, looking to settle their thirst for blood. Crack One of the bears snapped through the rusted chain holding it down, and lunged at Ragnar. I sprinted forward, slashing through its dirty mussle with my katana, spraying blood across the cold, hard pavement. I heard the mercenary holler at me, as I dodged the lunging bears attack. Bang Roarrrrrr Spurrrt The Mercenary fired his rifle at my position, hitting the bear straight in the lung, spraying bright red blood across my face. This was my chance! I dove behind the closest crate as he shot again, splinters flying everywhere. Bang Bang Bang Bang I slid between the crates, just avoiding his bullets. Then I stopped, sheathed my sword, and pulled out my own heavy rifle. I tossed my bag across to the next crate. Bang He took the bait! I pointed my Rifle at his neck. Baaang, crack, Thump The bullet pierced through his neck, cracking his spine, and sending his head flying. It landed with a thump on the pavement. His body crumpled to the floor as I jumped from behind the crate to go release my allies. Bang I turned my head just in time to see the sniper watching from the top of a nearby building, right as the bullet collided with my own neck. "So this is how it ends.... Ha" I managed to utter those words as my head was blown off my shoulders, spraying blood everywhere. Thump........

So that was quick, and not that good, but an example of the visual imagry I enjoy using. But I'm also an amateur too, so ive still got a lot to improve on, but anyway.
