My favorite character for awhile for Khalil a doctor turned torturer. Now I think it’s Fiore an illegitimate ward who was betrothed to an heir of a councilman. She broke off the engagement after her father and stepmother died. She is now councilwoman because her half brother did not want it. The fun is people trying to figure out if she killed her parents are not because she is a very capable ruler. She is also considered the most beautiful woman in all 9 lands. She turned cold after her parents death and covers up. She has even more suitors now that’s she is legitimate and a ruler herself. Everyone was rude to her before she took power so she knows who to trust. Even when she becomes the second most beautiful woman is the land she enjoys having less attention. She is really sweet and bubbly her best advisor her brother. If not for him she would have been assassinated by a family member. Her worse quality is she in unwillingly to kill her enemies when they won’t hesitate to kill her.
