It's pretty obvious to his userbase that he was caught between two establishment evils and managed to defeat one (Ryancare) and weaken the support for the other (Obamacare) in one move.

Honestly the lengths your kind goes to spin everything Trump does as a win is damn impressive I just gotta say. Who knew that consistently backing a disaster of a bill and actively trying to drum up support for it, instead of just releasing an actually good bill, was the good play. I'm sure being able to remind everyone "hey look, the democrats supported the ACA as recently as March!" is valuable political ammo they can use in 2018.
