Amusement Manager trying to run up the bonus/jackpot on a game?

I'm a game tech. Typically, the only games I'll play are Guitar Hero, Dirty Driving, and maybe a basketball game now that they're blue-swipe. However, the redemption games are fun, too, even to those who can't redeem tickets. It's nice to have a challenge.

Honestly, here's all I have to say: employees at D&B, especially techs, love the arcade aspect. Servers, managers, everyone. As a tech who has been here a while, I can say safely that I could make the grade as an AP. I've been stuck in a big room full of these games for years. New ones come in, the easiest way to learn about how they work is to just play the bejesus out of them. However, I firmly believe that being a game tech takes a little extra responsibility. If I ever see an employee bang out a JP on a redemption game, I will power cycle that game, even if the JP was still >global reset before the employee got there.

This is because I was trained to give the guests something we call "Ideal Playing Conditions" (IPC), and to maintain IPC every day. IPC involves providing a pleasant environment, proper presentation of games and prizes, acute playability factors (such as fair, untampered payouts), excellent service, safety, and security.

Any game tech who has been properly trained will know that employees JP'ing a game breaks IPC. It's not a matter of letting D&B know. It's a matter of specific D&B tech staffs not being trained properly.

In terms of redemption, no employee is allowed to redeem tickets for personal gain at all. I can only think of two possible valid explanations if you see an employee actually putting tickets on their card (keep in mind, if you're just upset that they're taking the tickets away, keep in mind, giving away free tickets is very tricky and we often throw tickets away in the back of house). One reason may be that they're adding tickets to a "floater card," a card that is used in the WinStore to help employees in any situation where they may need a card with extra tickets. Another reason may be that they're adding tickets to a "control card," which is used to ring in individual things that will be dropped from the inventory (damaged products, donations, outward marketing assets, etc.).

Hopefully this helps. Willing to answer any relevant questions.
