Some really do reject male victims, while other will make you feel worse. The ones saying it isn't true probably don't know what they are talking about, and just reacting. As a man that has gone through that, I know most people don't give a fuck about male victims. I only tried 2 help lines, but the first said they wouldn't talk to me and the second acted like I was the rapist, so yeah be wary. Friends and family all tried to make it a comparison of their friends of a friend's experiences being worse. There isn't much help for men and any expression that this is the truth is silenced, or denied.
