Any good tutorials that don’t involve XCode or Storyboards?

Oh certainly I understand I don’t mean to imply I’m going to ignore the tools available. I’m actually surprised that it’s easier to do on UIKit.

My I do plan to learn Storyboarding, like I said I’ve heard Apple actually does it right. It just makes it worlds easier to stick to plain text at the beginning until I can really wrap my head around how it works. It just makes getting a basic understanding of the language and the system APIs far easier for me when I stick to the basics.

That’s why I’m only looking for help in opening a Cocoa Window. I figure at that point I’d have a decent grasp over how everything functions.

That said, it took way too long, but I did find the command line compiler for swift so at least that’s one thing solved.
