I'm 100% on board with you about Aja Barber. She first came on my radar when the conversation surrounding racism in the knitting/yarn world really blew up starting last January and I found her to be so interesting and informative. Then she posted a story (around the time The Cut article came out) about how Carol is her FRIEND and ANYONE that thinks she is a scammer / liar is stupid, childish, misinformed and a bunch of other shaming and holier-than-thou words. I noped out of there then and it bugs the fuck out of me when my friends share stories or posts from her now. I could not believe the lengths she was going to defend a proven grifter and liar, it made me lose respect for her.
