Actually not a bad idea. Just copy the design and laser engrave the details.

I might try that because I still believe I deserve that status. I would have without a doubt flown just 1 more trip within a 3 months span. That's why this still pains me after a few months.

Also to add, customer service manager and leadership was very cold and slow with getting back to me. I had to wait almost 2 months, and actually didn't get a answer till I called them back when they said they would call me back. They said even taking everything into account (status from past few years, money spent, etc) that they would not accommodate my request to elevate my status. It was very cold and lacked empathy. Also, no compensation at all was provided, not even a $5 coupon or 500 miles. They said they owed me nothing and that it was my fault for not understanding that a status would be eligible in the last quarter of the year and that I should have called customer service. - sorry just ranting because I'm still very sad...
