Has anyone purchased a high priced domain 3K+ and can consider it worth it today?

Great Question. Now for beginning "domainers" if you will, you'll generally find a lot of dealings with hand registered domains- if you're not familiar with the term Hand Registered Domains (hand regs for short) simply means you entered random words into random register and they were available. So you paid roughly ten dollars for the .com and for the most part you'll find that will be the the first time those words have been regged into a domain. Usually that's more of beginner territory. But Still beginners should do their homework. Know what you're buying and exactly why you're buying 1st. More advanced domainers are looking for the high value domains that Joe idk shit is selling on sedo for 2k when it's work 40k. And even more advanced players are keeping their fingers on the pulse of the markets. Here's a personal example. Skip Richards had just retired from IBM where he was the Executive Sales Director. Mr. Richards moved to Arizona and began got into the world of HAM radio. I saw his radio channel on fb accidentaly, i didn't know the man at all before that. I told myself I had to find the domain that matches. I did. And in less than 2 full days I was buying it for $6,455 from a man that didn't know what he had. I sold it to Mr. Richards less than a month later for approx. 12x as much.
