April 24th, 2016 - /r/theredpill: A look at what exactly "Red Pill Theory" is and understanding it through an interview with one moderator

What on earth are they supposedly hijacking? Talking about men's issues? Hijacking from who? Nobody gets a monopoly.

Hijacking in the same way feminism hijacks Atheism with Atheism+, or any number of movements. The idea is to steer discussion away from Men's Rights and focus on feminism. Feminism relies on women being the victims.

No, that's just what you'll perceive on reddit

No, it's what I perceive in real life. Feminists shutting down Men's Rights discussions. People thinking of Men's Rights is a joke.

So you admit it's a tiny minority? What significance is it then? Is it a tiny minority or do feminists hate men?

Most feminists think men are misogynistic if they do not support them. I think most feminists therefore must hate men.

No they're not, almost any large sub, including the defaults, always upvotes anti-feminist, anti-SJW stuff. What are you reading?

Hahh. Default subs delete and censor any topics that go against feminist beliefs. Can't even count the number of times shoe0nhead has made it to the top of /r/videos - even some of her least 'triggering videos - but it got deleted for being 'political' while the React videos were flooding the subreddit.

I think this one is the most recent, which made it to the top and got quickly deleted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GGwfGSHJCY

Really political!

I'm sorry you haven't noticed how feminist the defaults are.

There's never been a female president of the US, none have ever won the Presidential nomination for Dems or Repubs, only two have ever been on the ticket as VP, and neither won. Positions of power in society have been dominated by men for the history of society. Privilege is a real thing.

Chances are the next white male you see isn't in office or in a position of enough power to actually chance society. Are they privileged because another white male is in office/power?

It's a bit of a ridiculous point, considering media and politicians don't take men's issues seriously enough to talk about them. Are they not in power at that point?
