Architect dictatorship or team democracy?

tasks are created in micro management manner by the architect

This isn't necessarily bad, accept the expert opinion

requires from me to guess what an author had in mind

As above.

Sometimes you do need intuition, you have been taught things and it's possible you've been taught everything you need to solve this problem.

the feature don't work and I don't know why

Again, sometimes you just do and use what you have to force it to work. It's almost a something from nothing situation, but it's not impossible to understand. The likelihood you found a Fermat last theorem sort of problem is pretty unlikely, I'm sorry but most likely what you got has been solved and it can be solved again.

And unfortunately, you have to take it into your own hands, do the most obvious and likely thing and just write it down. Do not take it personally, it is just one job you've probably already solved.
