I'll grant the nids are using spores instead of large blobs as screens. But firepower is still there with the flyrants. The BA lists tend to ally in guard for buffers/screen/obsec. The DA Dark Talon spam is completely left field. Chaos is right on queue with its cultist/poxwalker spam. Big units can do well, but no lord of war is very hot at the moment, except Magnus/Morty, and they don't make the top tables. Maybe the announced Castellan can turn things around, but judging on his guns and thr current point costs if Knights, he'll be 600-700 points. Which is ridiculous. Knights need a clear 100 point drop to even be considered decent. A 500+ point Knight Crusader dies to Magnus in 1 turnand would not kill him in 3. And Magnus costs less, flies, has psychic, and synergizes with other 1ksons. For 50 to 100 points less. Heck, Blood Angels captain smash can kill a Knight in 1 turn. And he's about 160 points.
