Are Professors against students having Chegg/Coursehero accounts at all?

I, a mid-career professor, actually tutor on Chegg. However, I tutor as I would face-to-face (e.g. what you might find in a writing center—we look over the paper together, and I act as a soundboard for students who know they have problems in their paper. I help them think through how to change it, which areas need to be improved, etc.). I know many people on Chegg do not legitimately tutor, and in fact offer to write papers or do homework. However, because the possibility of legitimate tutoring stands, I look past it for my students unless proven otherwise. Several of my assignments tell students to seek help at the writing center, Grammarly, SmartThinking, Chegg, etc. because I WANT them to have legitimate help that I can’t offer to each and every one of them. So, that said, there are some of us out there who are not anti-Chegg, but we are few and far between. (I absolutely hate Coursehero, however.)
