I find it interesting and at least you write it in a way that makes it quite easy to read. And even though you don't show much of the story, I feel like I can understand the characters. But I don't think this type of community is the target you have in mind. To be honest you won't get the attention you really deserve.

Considering what you show it seems that your work is completely focused on the female target (Which is obviously totally fine). Or maybe you want to give a message with your work, which would make it attractive to all audiences but not to the naked eye. But at first glance, in my opinion it looks like the typical modern regency romance books that end up focusing only on the female target.

In contrast to what people are looking for in this community. Which in my opinion, some things in that kind of works I find interesting, but it happened to me that, noticing some constants in comparison to other kind of works, made them become indifferent to me. But that's just my opinion. Sorry if I seem to be insensitive. Good luck in your work.
