Buyback Experiences?

Week6/7 - Got the call to meet up at a Hyundai dealership and due to a mix up we went to a different one I desired. All good tho, Exactly 1 week and 5 days of my document turn in, I finally let go of my beautiful Kona EV (1 year 1 month). We do an inspection and paper signing to release my ownership to the car, got a Hyundai check for the agreed amount minus balance on my car finance. I been checking everyday the balance of my payoff and they havent closed it (5 days since, was going to wait till then to post but here I am). I did one extra payment and I been told once they payoff the agreed balance, they should close the account and send me a check for the extra payment. Hopefully that gets done before my next month payment (3 weeks to go). Overall was a painless repurchase once they deem your car a lemon. I did purchase a 2021 Hyundai Nexo (worst experience ever at Keys Hyundai in Van Nuys, but thats for another post) and will drive for the next 6 years watching our EV charging infrastructure mature as well as hydrogen I guess. ( read one of my post on Grid infrastructure and why I am relying on H2 and natural gas in the meantime)
