Uhh this isn't a wildfire. It's a purposeful fire set to clear the rainforest for farmland and logging. Rainforrests are climax communities and don't need the reset mid progression ecosystems like grass/shrublands and early forests do. They are in the final stage and are the beacon of biodiversity on our planet.

Second of all what the fuck is a random American supposed to do to stop the fire? It was set on purpose and the Brazilian government is doing nothing to put it out, and actually purposely barring people from doing such. Do you expect them to drop everything, fly down to Brazil, stand up to their government, and then just put out a massive fire?
