You can tolerate PiB2 slander? Okay.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is a kids' movie which made the mistake of not knowing what it is. Unlike other serious animated movies where the villain does a fuck ton of killing to prove they are a threat, the edgy furry in this movie doesn't even try to kill the hero and keeps letting him go. The fact that the film is a comedy at heart doesn't help the villain look more menacing. The film tries to be deeper than it is. The hero's character arc is to from retarded daredevil to thanatophobia to common sensical.

Del Toro's Pinocchio was WAY better and deserved to take the Oscar of Best Animated Picture.
