In Case You Missed It, The LHSAA Proved Why We Need School Choice

Now I'm pretty sure you're just making stuff up.

The LFO Disagrees. There are oodles of cited papers showing that private schooling that is supported with tax cuts ups the total cost spread to tax payers.

The State of Georgia actually published their findings from doing the same experiment as us (with the exception of their moving requirements):

Also, for reference I did the research when in college here in state, when Jindal applied for school vouchers. We demonstrated the cost at the state level, which is what you're ignoring. Your original argument is that Louisiana spends 11k on public students and parents pay $7k., what I am telling you is the parents pay $7k tuition to the school but what you as a taxpayer do not see is what you're paying outside of that in terms of deductions and cuts. $13k was more the very tip-top of the brackets. I believe out averages were around the $14k mark at the top of the charter school build out application listings.

Second, these schools are all non-profits. They don't get tax breaks because they don't pay taxes. But guess what? Neither do public schools. So it's not like private schools are getting some sort of tax advantage that public schools don't get.

False equivalency - public schools provide much larger environments at more efficient costs. Also, Not paying taxes is a tax break lol. Public schools don't pay taxes because they are funded by taxes hence the name. Private schools get a ton of money in the form of donations (which are not taxed and later are deducted by both the donating party and receiver), this costs you and I money. Public schools do not get donations with these sizings, if you think a school like St. Michael's or Catholic isn't receiving millions in donations you're living under a rock. These schools average $10k in tuition which doesn't include anything else and are attached to churches (Catholics) who enjoy enormous monetary strength and wealth.
