What is the biggest 'What if...' in NFL history?

It's unbelievable. It's like nobody can read what I wrote. You are the second person to mention to me that Brady was already a very good QB back then. I know. When did I say he wasn't?

Especially the first three. Brady has willed the Pats to win multiple times in the playoffs, but those defences in the early 2000's were the main reason those Super Bowl's were won

I never said Brady wasn't one the reasons the Pats won those SBs. It's glaringly obvious to anybody with any sense that Brady was already a very good QB from the beginning (and he quickly went from very good to great.) But at that time Brady was not the killer that he was today; his job was, as you said, to limit turnovers. And it's not like he was Tyrod Taylor out there. Every time he was called upon to deliver (especially at the end of games) he did.

But you don't have to preemptively defend Brady when I wasn't even attacking him. I don't even know why you had to bring Manning's name up. Lots of fans out there think that Brady has always carried the Pats and that is not the case. Early 2000's Patriots were a complete team, and while Brady was very important for their success, he was not the monster we know him as. He mostly became that after 2006-2007.

I know that people on the internet love to argue and attack others for no reason, but not every comment that isn't fellating Tom is hating on him. Sometimes we have to acknowledge that once upon a time the Pats weren't Brady + random white receiver #2.
