The flu kills babies. Yet no one has batted an eye at flu season in 100 years. Babies cannot get vaccinated against the flu until 6months.

Covid famously does not harm children or babies nearly as much as the flu does.

My daughter was born during flu season. We made a conscious decision to stay in and away from people for the first 6months of her life, but we never expected the rest of the world to restrict themselves because there were babies in the world (including our own) that were vulnerable.

As a parent we make choices and sacrifices. We cannot expect the rest of the world to sacrifice their liberties because we are afraid of the risk involved.
