Common Man Rankings

Disagree entirely. Almost complete opposite.

1) The Old Zeuser - Arguably the only true fan of the group, and a good guy who is high on himself, has non-mainstream opinions and gets legitimately mad at things and people beyond faux-moral outrage over whatever convenient and inconsistent character concern is trending on Twitter at the time. Seems the most comfortable in his own skin.

2) The Boss - Seems really good with his coworkers and I appreciate the laid back attitude and self awareness as a fan of how good a run its been, even if him checking out a bit drops him in the rankings. I also like that he sees the game as entertainment more than the rest, legitimately has fun watching and talking about the game, and isn't climbing mount pious about anything.

3) Quiet Storm - I love Sessler, but being a vegetarian drops him some points, his weird Stockholm syndrome-esque appreciation for the patriots and Ben Roethlisberger worries me, and he's more poet than common man. I also find some of his irritation with players and coaches (such as the Rex Ryan hatred) kind of outside what I'd expect for a common man covering football, it's fine but as someone who spouts plenty of weird lines himself, wouldn't you rather write about weird lines than boring cliches?

4) The Mailman - Fuck wes. When I started listening to the podcast he was my favorite, I thought he understood my plight (as a bengals fan) and even though I didn't respect his abandoning the team I did understand, the 90s were as bad as any team has had it. Him going full heel on them, celebrating the playoff losses and embracing the fucking Steelers lost my respect entirely. What further lost my respect is the complete hypocrisy he wields when talking about players, Burfict has done crazy shit since then, but with the ankle twists as his first fuck up in the NFL Wes was calling for him to be kicked out of the league, yet when Odell Beckham nails Newman in the side of the head helmet to helmet with a running start and after the whistle he's all "he messed up but it doesn't make him a bad person." On the actual common man rankings though, Wes is a loser, listening to him talk about dating is sad and awkward, he knows less about it than most guys do at 16, and yet he tries to act like he has this whole complex system and these requirements. Lol, "broken but not damaged beyond repair", so basically you like women with low standards? Of course you do. Here's a hint, be less arrogant while you talk down about literally everything outside of 70s TV shows. Maybe if you didn't block everyone who has ever disagreed with you on Twitter you might learn to handle differing opinions without shouting incredulously.
