Computer science math-IPV4 fragmentation-:(Doesn't require CS knowledge)

honestly i am even more confused.

i think we want 13 bit number to represent 16 bit number.

so but i don't get what 213 and 216 represent actually.

i have solved 1 problem..i will share the screenshot of it. can you try explaining abt those numbers from that qn pov?

Also from another angle, I feel like this.

The maximum offset possible=sum of all previous data only i the sum of all previous data possible=65535-n*20

n=no.of fragments

meaning "total length" field=16 bits=>65535 bytes max size.

Each fragments would have 1 header. So n fragments would have n*20 header. I am pretty confused atm..I don't think anyone can clear up my confusion. I am sad.
