Cottagecore is all about getting back to our roots, but the soil is poisoned, and the water is full of plastic. What are we doing about it?

Not that I don't agree with everything you said, but I do think this sub is specifically for following an aesthetic and ~looking~ like you live this lifestyle and not necessarily actually living that way (not necessarily due to the lack of wanting to). I believe it would be better to go to the many available sub-reddits that focus on sustainability, environmental impact, veganism, etc to get ideas/help to produce action.

Certain subs, like this one, probably do not need to have activism and/or political content involved in it because there are so many other places to go to read about these issues and participate in. People need some places to go, whether that is online or in person to escape for a little while from the lengthy list of things that are going wrong in our world. Taking part of hobbies is something I believe is essential to keeping your mental health in tact so that when you DO decide to get involved in helping the planet, you are emotionally strong enough to do so.

Here are some interesting and informative subs that discuss the climate/environment.
