Really just don't know what to do about money/life, almost 40, trying to grow/glow up but totally lost as to what that process looks like or how to plan.

I want to add mentality to all the advice you’ve gotten, I can relate with how you grew up and how you feel tired when having over one job, I myself feel like that with just one job. I earn below average, and I grew up with an immigrant mother, she doesn’t know much about the world, and my dad died when I was 13 so there’s that. I don’t want to make this about me, so I’ll leave it there, but yea everything I know I’ve had to learn, especially because I don’t associate much with people, I’m learning how to, or did not think about writing here on Reddit. I’m currently 21 and this is what has worked for me:

-Have goals, weekly, daily, yearly, and 10 year. -Read the 4 Agreements, and the Millionaire next door. Take notes highlight interact with the info to retain. -Cut off or limit (little by little) eating junk food. It won’t serve you to achieve all your goals if you die in the same decade. If you don’t know how to cook learn, nothing happens overnight, which is why weekly goals are important. - You are not a victim. Realize that it’s never about what happened to you, but about how you reacted to what happened. -If you’re interested for better more precise info, Message me personally, I don’t know if you can do that here on Reddit tho. If it’s possible send me a DM or inbox, being honest with you, the world is many times not willing to share what actually works or they simply don’t know. This is all worked for me, but there’s stuff way deeper than what I can talk about here. And no it’s not aliens but it does involve your spirituality along other “sub-topics”. But honestly, your perspective needs a shift, every head it’s a world, there is reason why your life is the way it is, compulsive behavior for one. Which can be changed, I relate to you on many levels, just a bit younger.
