What I would do (because I'm a sadist): IF you have a fabricator built in the cyclops... Take all the power cells out of my cyclops (since there is nothing really dangerous at the cove), and put them into the storage of the PRAWN, then walk to the very beginning of the lava lakes in my PRAWN,harvest the 4 kyanite I need for the cyclops thermal module, then carefully walk all the way back to the cyclops, harvest some deep shrooms and silver from around the Cove Tree & Lost River area, create the Cyclops Thermal Module, put all my power cells back in the cyclops, and, 4 hours later when this is all done, pat myself on the back.

At 283 different points during this plan I would probably die though and revert to your plan.
