Articles like this should scare all LI elected officials. Guy leaves lI and buys a new home for $204k. That is *impossible* here.

Not a boomer but do love when people resort to name calling in arguments. It’s amusing as that is your only way to argue.

No anger. Just again find it hilarious you and others, whatever generation you are, bitching and moaning and complaining and being angry over supply and demand. You can do what my boomer parents did and their parents and on and on and moved to where opportunity existed. And I did the same. I was moved from the Midwest to further west because my parents followed opportunity. I moved to NY to do the same thing. Guess what, if I couldn’t afford it here I would have left. As far as the narrative of entitlement, thinking you have a right to live on LI or expecting the governemnt to take action to make it so you can afford it is entitlement. But perhaps you made up your own narrative.

And given you make well over median you should have no issue with the 580k median home price that gives you prximity to the major metropolitan area you chose to live in or near.
