I’m truly disturbed by anyone saying that being raped and murdered is “getting off easy.”

but getting raped to death is not somehow getting off easy, ever.

It's getting off easy because they DIED. While the process is incredibly distressing and painful, it ended just right there for them. They didn't have to live through the pain and trauma.

Their victims have to continue living with the nightmare - the pain continues. And it's not just the rape, but the blackmailing, the constant fear of being exposed, and possibly knowing some sickos are watching and getting off from the videos of them being victimised.

I would think that many victims of sexual assault (myself included) would be very distressed reading something like this.

I believe you view them both as victims. Well, they are not. If anything, they are victims of their own wickedness. Remember, that two rapists weren't there to party - they were hired by those two for the specific purpose of getting yet another girl brutally raped. They just didn't know that two things have been bought off to attack them instead.

On second thoughts, it's good that they died anyway. Given their wickedness, it's hard to imagine they will become good people after this. More than likely they will become more hateful and harsher than ever and take it out by getting more women raped, taped and sold.
