I didn’t think Lesser Dragonbreath was THAT powerful

"its not, you have a mod causing that interaction"

  1. Initial statement is blaming the user's mods for the problem without knowing the user's setup. There are a ton of reasons that could cause an issue like this which would be completely out of the user's influence, but the moderator took to immediately dismissing the issue by claiming the player must be at fault.

"e. also, this video isn't super helpful, you're (most likely?) trying to show us your attacks being interrupted, yet you scroll away from your actual attack bar and don't even manage to show the enemy"

  1. First off we have negative language that's placing blame on the user again. "This video isn't super helpful". Good moderators recognize that most users don't know how to submit bug reports because not everyone is in the software industry. The proper candor in this situation would be to say something like "I'm sorry but I don't understand the context of the video. Would you please explain the problem you're experiencing for me?"
See, this phrasing not only doesn't blame the user, but also fishes for additional information instead of assuming what the user is trying to convey.

  2. The rest of the statement is simply more incorrect assumptions, this time about the context of the video. In actuality the video very clearly shows that the user's food is being consumed at a surprising rate which, as it turns out, is what they were trying to demonstrate.

So, the moderator looked at this post and rather than probing for additional information, took the opportunity to chastise the user based entirely on their own assumptions.

So we have a moderator that looked at something, made assumptions about it, decided their assumptions were correct, and immediately responded with the equivalent of "You broke your own game with mods. Also your video is useless and doesn't show what I assume you're trying to show". Seems pretty condescending to me especially when you consider that the Moderator was wrong at every turn.
