Didn't find any cool metals. Found a cool place. New England. Was told by owner of property no houses or buildings were there for al least 250+ years.

That's really not the point, there are always people who get to explore areas that had civilizations long before wherever you are but nobody should act uppity about that. People across the pond were still building houses from sticks when Rome was built and even that was nothing compared to what the Egyptians did thousands of years before that. If you want to see some good finds in US, you can always head over to r/arrowheads and see some fun historical finds from this side of the pond. There is a lot of history in America, but the civilizations here before European immigrants came had more respect of the land so you see less evidence of that and that makes the finds extra special imo.
