Thanks for the help!!! I think I know what post you're referring to; I read through it when trying to find more insight on the colors. I'm not too worried and I'm fairly confident that the slight variation in leather will be fine.

In regards to the latter part of your comment, I completely understand that sentiment, and it's a good message. I have plenty of buds that share the exact same opinion as you. Who cares about all this nonsense in the end. I'm far from prissy, as the vast majority of my casual wardrobe is $10 black t-shirts, but certain quirks are still important to me.

With matching the belt to the shoes it's not something that I necessarily do in the sense of worrying what others think. It's more so just a thing I do for me and my own self image. Growing up my dad taught me that "a gentleman will always match the leather on his belt and his watch with the leather on his shoes." I always wanted to impress him by being that man. So I do it in honor of his wisdom and memory more than anything. It's the same reason why I put cologne on in the morning haha.
