Dungeon Defenders 2 Hero Recommendations [Small Guide]

Overall Knowledge

Alright so let me get this one out first, Playing any tower defense game, no matter what game it is, transfers over some knowledge and game sense into other games that are similar, I dont know about you, but to me that makes perfect sense.

Its like you play a FPS game, and then you play another FPS game, the "Aim" and other gamesense is transfered over, you will become a lot better a lot faster because of it, maybe you dont have that sort of thing going on in your brain, but for me it works like thusly.

META

I dont watch other peoples guides, I dont go to the forums, and neither do I play with others online, I play by myself, for myself, I dont have a "Meta" to begin with, since I dont interract with the rest of the community, I'm self-taught in all games I play.

I use the towers I find good myself, if you have different opinions that's fine, but dont go around and be a hypocrite and tell me that I'm wrong only because my opinion is different, dont honk your own horn instead, that's just rude.

You can disagree and tell me that X tower is better or worse, but that doesn't make it so, people dont always agree with eachother, and this is one of those times.

Towers

Ramsters: I already said ramster is a good tower, so I dont understand how you can misunderstand that. (I merely said that the other 3 towers that abyss lord has, is somewhat bad, so he's not worth buying for a new person if he's only going to be using a single tower out of it.)

Huntress Traps: I said my piece, I shouldn't have to explain my reasoning behind it, I dont agree that traps are as effective as other auras/traps in the same category, since bees and slimes are considered "traps" etc, that might be a difference in how we percieve things, but that's how I see it, using dryad towers or monk auras instead is a lot better. (Heck even proton beams are considered traps are they not?)

Ballista: No need to be snide, I said ballista is better past floor 65 and its a good tower then, but not early game without shards for new people, I guess you forgot to read that part. (Once again.)

Squire wall vs Mystic wall: Agree to disagree, an opinion is an opinion, its neither right nor wrong, I have mine, you have yours, let's leave it at that.

Lavamancer: Same as above.

Boasting: Boasting is also a perception thing, I clearly stated that I'm not boasting and I'm just putting out a disclaimer or credit so that people know that the guide itself isn't made by someone that hasn't played TD's long enough, If you think that's boasting, then yeah that's like your opinion man.

Closing Words

Clearly you've played this game, since you seem to know a lot about it, but there's no need to be snide and try and steamroll me for the sole reason that you think I'm wrong.

I put this guide out now, because I won't have time to fix this when the new patch hits, I also put it out because people are prep grinding and are accumilating medals that should be used on heroes if they don't have them all.

I also clearly stated that all heroes are "Viable" once the patch hits, because according to trendy most heroes are going to in line with the others because of the crit changes and the way that towers scale and whatnot.

If you believe that I'm wrong in doing all this and that I'm out on a wild goose chase, then so be it, but there's no need to be rude about it and make snide remarks about how I play this game.

We all play this game differently, and that's going to be even moreso after that patch hits, that is a fact.

You don't have to agree with everything I said, and I honestly dont expect you to either, I just wanted to get a final word out.

I probably won't reply to this again, since it's pretty clear you are set in stone on your opinions and there's probably nothing I can do or say to convince you otherwise.

I wish you all the best, Have a nice day.
