Early voting in the Charlotte municipal election finished yesterday; turnout is ~4%. I predict Charlotte will be controlled by the GOP. Dems are a majority of accepted ballots so far but probably won't be come Tuesday. Plus, unaffiliated voters usually break against the party of the POTUS.

Why though? I mean the NC released their Republican agenda few weeks back was awful. We have to worry about the Government here protecting us from the Federal Government if GOP control. All GOP at the moment are anti woman, anti engrionyz anti pro choice, anti pro quality of lifez against the social safety net, against free market, against education, against public education, against public services, against the social safety net, against LGBTQIA rights, against freedom of speech, pro in bedroom politics, freedom of religion, and restrict voting access. I am an unaffiliated voter have voted Libertarian in 2016. Skipped voting since then. Plan to vote all Blue for 2022 & 2024 elections.
