Etsy scams. This person buys their stuff from china and sells it as “handmade”

Hi all, Tsuki Blade owner here.

Firstly, this entire post is based around a personal vendetta the original poster has against me in our personal lives.

I work with a retail arbitrage / private labelling selling method in my store until I am profitable enough to outsource my own custom metals. I source my charms in bulk from suppliers overseas, along with high quality piercing jewellery, findings(the pieces to put them together), and all of my chains etc. Nothing is arriving as a finished piece, but as parts which I assemble to my creative liking.

The items themselves are hand crafted by myself as the charms do not come attached to the jewellery itself. I do not make the metals or irons as I do not have the funding to do so as my business is still small scale. I am currently in the works of finding a supplier to create custom metals for me in wholesale. (If you know a good one, let me know)

99% of the designs in my store are manifested by myself. Like this choker pictured, I have copied some of the highest selling designs on popular websites to increase my sales and reach so I can start to fund my custom work, which btw, is very very expensive. I recreate them using better materials to increase value for a potential buyer. The buyer gets to enjoy my fast shipping, excellent customer service, and beautiful packaging - as well as a beautiful product.

ALL of the Chinese companies I work with are listed on my Etsy and customers have complete access to that information before they decide to make a purchase.

ALL of the photos I use on my listings are my own. I have had sellers on Aliexpress use my photos without permission and steal my designs too.

The profits I make from selling these pieces are not as excessive as they seem, as there are fees, shipping charges, taxes, and ad expenses.

You can checkout my Instagram where I post videos and pictures of my crafting processes. I am starting to expand my business and create more unique pieces such as chest harnesses and intricate necklaces.

There is nothing scammy about my business in my opinion. It’s my full time job and my passion. It takes me time to craft these pieces. All of my pieces are shipped with care and the buyer always has a fantastic experience with my products. In 830 sales I’ve had no complaints whatsoever.

Of course, there are many ways to view the situation but in a world consumed by capitalism, I can only do the best with what I have. By looking at my store, it’s clear to see that it isn’t a money grab. You can see the quality reviews and the care in the listings and items.

If you are looking for a very high quality custom item, you can expect to see a very heavy price tag. My customer base are looking for alternative jewellery and I deliver that to a T. They get what they came for. Nobody is forcing them to buy my products over a competitor.

At the end of the day, Etsy is a selling platform and it is an incredible opportunity for new businesses to get their foot in the door, and I have done just that.

PS. I am getting harassment from this post, which seems pretty unnecessary.
