EU leaders to declare: 'We cannot take more migrants'

Whether or not the views are becoming more mainstream doesn't really matter. It's still a minority and that will never change. There will always be people willing to look past the surface of status quo and implemented biased thinking.

There's a difference between not wanting to support and provide for people that seek nothing but to reap the benefits without giving back. I don't think it helps anyone by making this an us vs them argument, calling them inferior, animals, or making other comparisons that belittle them to lesser than human status. That is exactly what that forum group does. You can't really argue with that.

You're right, I am an immigrant, but I also don't reap any benefits from coming to Europe. I already have an education, I already have my money saved to live here and I already am willing to learn the local language and assimilate and have an open mind and heart to society here. As a non-citizen and non-asylum seeker do you ignorantly think the system here supports me in any way? I don't get paid to live here, nor do I get funded or assisted in anyway. You probably don't or wouldn't know that since most of the "patriots" that talk shit on immigrants know nothing but what the media spews. I hear the same arguments about Mexicans back in the US. "They're taking our jobs and their taking advantage of our system and they're freeloading, etc." Those people pay taxes too, and I certainly do as well.

If you want to "correct" the problem of immigration, or at least be proactive in the matter, then it's probably better to take the stance of the system cannot support such increases, or perhaps we need to recalculate how these benefits work, or perhaps we need to add extra implementations as to how to make people assimilate to require them to contribute back to society. There is a lot of work to be done, and as an immigrant I understand that and realize that. I am not ignorant to those notions and am open to them. Contributing back should always be immigrants goal, but the racist and bigot ideals are not helping those causes.

America opened it's arms to Europeans during the depression times here in Europe, which includes the thousands upon thousand from Sweden. There were and always has been hardships across the world and part of the human experience is to move and travel and inter-combine and cross cultures.

Keep in mind when I say you, I am speaking to all people that are so called self proclaimed racists, xenophobes or patriots that stand for Europe united or a whites only society. If you really want to make a difference, do so in a way people from all backgrounds can get behind, or else that "mainstream" belief you may or may not have of Europeans united/patriots will die faster than you can breath.
