Well obviously it's a whole console generation behind ps1 so probably not. I spent probably 100+ hours as a kid playing it, but haven't fired it up in years, even though I have it on my mini.

From what I remember was a solid storyline and good game mechanics (for 1994 of course). The item pickups are all useful so you aren't wasting time doing side stuff, and it is challenging enough, but certainly not too hard to make you want to give up.

One wierd thing is the screen set up for gameplay. Iirc, it's like a diagonal 3rd person view. It takes some getting used to, but when you do it's just as easy to navigate your chopper around the map as any other game. GET IN DA CHOPPA!!
