Good to see that there are other people who like necroposting. I just don't understand why so many people hate necroposting. The hatred of necroposting has lead to many forums/platforms archiving threads and prohibiting necroposting. It has lead to so many duplicate threads being opened unnecessarily.

I think the hatred of necroposting stems from the notion that spammers might necropost. But spammers can also open new threads, which I think is worse. And apparently some moderators hate necroposting because some people harass necroposters, but that's the fault of the harassers, not their victims. Besides, the harassers are motivated by hatred of necroposting. So if the platform has anti-necroposting policies, that actually encourages the harassment of necroposters.
