Feb.19,2015 - Open forum on colour analysis

I use a 10 point system (from International Image Institute): True Winter True Summer True Autumn True Spring Plus Flows - Undertone Flows: Cool (Winter/Summer) Warm (Spring/Autumn) Value Flows: Deep (Winter/Autumn) Light (Spring/Summer) Intensity Flows: Clear or Bright (Winter/Spring) Soft or Muted (Summer/Autumn)

I have never heard a client say to me that they resonate more with a particular version of a colour palette. What varies between versions of colour palettes may be the colour option ranges (? I'm guessing here). What should not vary is the undertone, value ranges and intensities. Once one knows these attributes that align with themselves -- this should hold universal. Do you have an example for me to look at or do you have an example to share?

Most clients who come to me know a little bit about colour analysis, but, have not fully researched the various systems out there.

What I have heard is the following: - Some emotional shock because their colour palette was not aligned with their vision of what they thought their palette was (many who I met hope they are True Winters or True Springs because they like the brightness of the colours in these palettes own their own) - the colours in their seasonal colour palette on their own look a little dull, but, when applied to their skin -- they light up etc. -- there is some emotional shock around this - a lot of joy at the end of the session now that they know how to give off their best through their colour choices

My consultations are very interactive and I show clients what I am seeing so that they understand the process and why various colours do/do not work for them -- therefore they know and resonate with their seasonal colour palette by the end of the session.

I am an expert at the International Image Institute's 10 season system and that is the system that is discussed during my consultations.

Hope this helps!
