France reassures UK on maintaining winter electricity flows

Your country relied on Russia . Basically any country in Europe, mostly for gas e.g. Poland in 2021 by 90%,more than Germany. Or Bulgaria by 100% on russian oil. Again more than Germany.

But you also rely on China for seldom earths, Kongo for cobalt, Chile for lithium, Taiwan for extremely highly integrated computer chips, Russia+China for titan. On Arab countries for oil. On USA+China for smartphones, on USA for operating systems.

And so on. The list is almost endless.

Inside the EU one can say that the mutual trade (and reliance) prevented ear. Who knew 20 years ago that this wouldn't work with Russia? Yelzin and early Putin even spoke about joining NATO (they never applied). Different world. Most gas pipelines were even built before Putin, go figure.
