I've seen people talking about the cosmetic gacha too but I think it's still unconfirmed. Maybe we'll get more info about that in the upcoming dev stream. I also hope the paid cosmetics don't expire.

I doubt anything will change even if more people complained. We are extremely unlikely to get a global version that's 1:1 with the JP server due to reasons like: - The existence of people who will compain about the game not being "diverse" enough like they did with Genshin. - Organizations like the UN and financial companies disliking the appearance of loli/shota characters (especially in a game where you can see their underwear and equip revealing outfits). - Bandai Namco needs to comply with ESG Social rules (I was surprised the underwear feature even got to stay). - Strict laws of some countries in major markets like Australia and the UK on anime-styled products featuring young-looking characters.
