Why does my 25 yo boyfriend of 7 months want to stay over 4 nights a week & wants a key to my apartment, but doesn’t want to move out of his parents house in with me ?

Nothing about this story insinuates he can't do those things, but that by OP's view and potential bias, he doesn't which can be any number of things.

I was in a similar situation, I could easily cook and clean for myself. But I literally never got the opportunity because my grandparents would just do it all for me before I even got the chance and would get upset if I tried to do or say otherwise. They were retired and lived in a pretty boring place so cooking and cleaning must've just been part of what kept them busy. If I so much as sneezed, I'd just randomly find out my grandmother scheduled a doctor's appointment for me.

It was one of the biggest reasons I moved out because people made assumptions about me due to it. Also because literally being unable to so much as choose my own meals without having to deal with a guilt trip, and having my grandmother barge into my room in the middle of a meeting at work to gather a single outfit from the laundry bin, was maddening.
