Is Geographic Analysis (Arts) a good program?? Please, any comment would help me.

I'm a 2rd year Geographic Analysis student at ryerson and I really enjoy the program along with the institution itself. The Geographic Analysis program at Ryerson focuses on a number of aspects and issues related to the urban structure of Toronto which includes almost every characteristic within geography. By characteristics of geography I mean: physical, commercial, retail, industrial, and environmental. The program has a good balance between classroom work and laboratory assignments where you learn to use multiple GIS (Geographic Information Science) software programs which are at times tedious, yet rewarding. If you enjoy learning about the underlying forces that explain certain geographic phenomenons while learning to map and analyze such data using GIS to help make decisions about the real world, then I suggest you give it a try. In addition, you get the option to travel to areas of geographic significance while enjoying the pleasure of guest speakers come in such as a Toronto Police Chief Superintended. I personally enjoy this program because of how it revolves around the spatial geographic properties within Southern Ontario; especially that of an urban environment like Toronto and the surrounding Greater Toronto Area. It may not be extremely difficult, but I wouldn't go as far to say it is the easiest. Nothing at University is truly easy. I think Geography or something similar in that are of study is common at a secondary institution in Ontario, but I could be wrong. I think Ryerson provides our department with enough funding seeing that we get to travel, see guest speakers, and enjoy a small room we refer to as the "geo lounge". Anyway, this is only one mans opinion, so choose whats best for you!
