Need advice on what course to take - Table A (Lower Level Liberal Studies)

If you're interested in film/movies:

POL 128 - Politics and Film is interesting if you want to watch films and short pieces and pick them apart for their camera style, their political content and intent. I had Moura, and I found it easy despite being pretty shit at political stuff personally. It was insightful and easy.

NPF 188 - Page to Screen is similarly interesting in that it takes fiction and compares it to its film counterparts. Good if you like to read + watch movies. I had David Murphy for this, and he was a great prof. (Examples: We read Frankenstein, watched Bride of Frankenstein - Read Hamlet, watched Throne of Blood and compared the nuances.)

I did minimal studying for both and passed pretty OK. There are essays for both, but for Pol 128 it had a final and Npf 188 we had a take home essay. Can't speak for other professors, however!
