Currently in first year compsci right now, so my experience might be a little bit limited. So far first year has been a breeze. I don’t have much to say since I’m still fairly new, but the campus is super easy to navigate, the library and SLC are usually quiet and great places to get some work done. Since its in downtown Toronto, there’s almost always something going on.

As for what I disliked: Unfortunately as a commuter who usually tried to get home before 9pm, I usually don’t have much spare time on my hands, which forces me to miss out on many events hosted during the evening/night. Also, Ryerson doesn’t really have a “campus”. It’s just a bunch of buildings scattered throughout the downtown Toronto area (may be a pro or a con depending on who you are). But yeah, my experience so far has been pretty positive.
