Had to cancel my holiday to Cuba, so brought Cuba to me...

For Americans traveling to Cuba, shopping at state owned businesses is forbidden. I know the tobacco industry is owned by the state and everything eventually flows up to the state but due to the travel restrictions an American in Cuba would have to stay at a privately owned residence, eat at restaurants owned by Cuban individuals, shop only at shops owned by Cuban individuals, buy tours and transportation from privately citizens. Due to the U.S. sanctions against Cuba, this is literally the only way a U.S. citizen can help the private citizens aside from nonprofit work which has its own set of restriction. Sanctions only hurt the private citizens, the government can give two shits about their own people. Was mining OP follows the travel refs set forth by the U.S. government this is probably a pretty good way to help out the people of Cuba. Just saying
