Damaged Davidoff Nicaragua.

I'm not dissonant

Doing something that you don't want to do is the denotative example of dissonance. If you cannot grasp denotation there's really no point to talking to you.

I'm just trying to explain to you where your unfounded allegation that they're intentionally sending damaged products is rooted and how it lacks support from your testimony. I get that you're irritated with them. But you can't go around expecting a distributor is going to do what YOU as a singular customer wants versus what they promise to do. They fulfilled what they promise to do in their guarantee, and to expect more is immature and foolish.

You're new to the sub, but that has little to do with your attitude. Your venting requires the assumption that it left a packer's hands / qc's eyes damaged, but ignores the reality that transit often can damage a cigar. Once you understand that important portion of your experience, you'll be able to simmer down and accept that shit like this happens. You could have made it a happy post that Thompson actually gave you a refund versus made you jump through hoops, but you took an accusatory route. That speaks highly on your attitude and for being new, that's one of the first things I get from you. I don't care too much that you ask questions that can be answered by the wiki, most if not all new people do that. But when you make unsupported accusations and ignore the fundamental nature of assumptions in an argument (reasoning, not a disagreement/discussion), your first impression stands to tell me you don't understand logical reasoning as well as you think you do.

I've seen you post plenty in your first almost 30 days on the sub, and that's cool. Hopefully you'll stick around, but with your attitude, and you're going to have a lot of shitty things happen in life because that's life, it's going to be rough for you. I'm just trying to help you take a holistic point of view, to step back and try to understand the factors that may affect damage on a cigar instead of jumping to a heavy assumption of malice/deceit/wrong-doing by a company.
